Balestrino... ... Rita ed Enrico ritornano nel luogo che li ha visti camminare, esplorare, fare delle foto, (alcune delle quali nel filmato risalenti agli anni '80) tanti anni fa insieme per le strade del borgo abbandonato ...
Questa canzone (scritta nel 2012) ... narra.... di Shel che a Balestrino ha trovato le sue "stelle", e che molti anni fa cantava con i Rokes, su questa musica di Bob Lind (titolo originale "Cheryl's going home", 1966), la famosa canzone "Ma che colpa abbiamo noi" scritta da Mogol (Giulio Rapetti) e che diventerà, per un certo periodo, il "manifesto" hippie (in Italia) degli anni '66-'67 (titolo al quale si ispirerà anche un film di Carlo Verdone). Uno degli spettacoli di Shel si ispira alla Beat Generation americana ed è arricchito qua e la da esibizioni musicali. Shel Shapiro è Direttore Artistico della Rassegna "Stars A Balestrino", affascinante Borgo della Riviera Ligure di ponente che gli autori (Rita ed Enrico) avevano già frequentato e percorso nelle sue antiche vie molti decenni prima. Essi colpiti dalla coincidenza che Shel organizzasse questi spettacoli proprio a Balestrino, scrissero spontaneamente questo testo... ricordando quando erano fan dei Rokes a metà degli anni '60...
Un omaggio simpatico, ed affettuosamente spiritoso, ai Rokes ed in particolare a Shel ed a quello che hanno rappresentato per le generazioni dell'epoca; e dedicata a Balestrino ed ai suoi abitanti.

... Rita and Enrico returning to the place that saw them walk, explore and take pictures, (some of them in the movie are from the '80s) many years ago along the streets of the abandoned village ...
This song (written in 2012) is about Shel finding his "stars" in Balestrino and who sang with Rokes many years ago on the music of "Cheryl's going home" (1966) by Bob Lind, the famous song "Ma che colpa abbiamo noi" written by Mogol (Giulio Rapetti) and was, for a time, the hippie "manifesto" (in Italy) in '66 -'67. In one of the shows Shel is inspired by the American Beat Generation and he enriched the show with some musical performances. Shell Shapiro is the Artistic Director of the "Stars in Balestrino," Festival a charming village on the Western Riviera which authors (Rita and Enrico) had already visited and walked along its ancient streets decades ago. They where strucked by the coincidence that Shel would organize these shows just at Balestrino, and they spontaneously wrote this text ... remembering when they were fans of the Rokes in the mid 60's ...
A nice and affectionately witty tribute, to the Rokes and to Shel in particular and to what represented for the generations of those times; and dedicated to Balestrino and its inhabitants.
